Setting: A remote village in Himachal Pradesh, India — now eerily modernized but hiding a haunted past.

Prologue

The year is 1895. A woman accused of witchcraft, Devika, is burned alive by the villagers. But as the flames consume her, she screams a curse:

“I will return when fire becomes light and the sky holds no gods.”

The fire flickers unnaturally. Her eyes, still open in the blaze, shine with a silver glow.

Present Day – 2025

The small Himalayan village of Devgarh has now been connected to the digital world. High-speed internet, smart homes, and drones flying over the once-silent valleys. But with the arrival of tech comes an unexplained rise in disappearances, starting the moment the new 5G tower goes live.

People whisper:

“Bhootnii has awakened.”

The Characters

• Riya Sharma, a 26-year-old tech YouTuber from Delhi, travels to Devgarh to vlog about "India's Most Haunted Village Now Online."

• Inspector Vikrant Thakur, 35, local cop with a haunted past and a secret connection to Devika’s bloodline.

• Amma Nandini, 88, the village’s oldest resident who remembers the original tales… and hides the last piece of the truth.

The Haunting

Strange glitches begin. Riya’s drone crashes but sends back footage of a woman floating above a burnt-out cottage — her face blurred, eyes glowing. Her phone keeps typing by itself:

“Set me free. Or burn like them.”

Night falls early in Devgarh. The villagers start to vanish again, one by one. Riya and Vikrant must uncover the original trial records — but they find out the truth:

Devika wasn’t a witch.
She was a scientist — a woman ahead of her time, experimenting with ancient Vedic energy harnessing.
The villagers misunderstood.
And in killing her… they woke something far older.

The Twist

The Bhootnii isn’t a ghost.
She’s a hybrid of consciousness and cursed energy, trapped in a dark-energy loop.
And the 5G tower? It’s the key to her full resurrection.

Riya must choose:

Final Scene
