One winter morning in the middle of the countryside, veterinarian Amanda is a victim of a lightning strike, an event that shakes her up both physically and mentally. When she wakes up from an induced coma some weeks later, she is no longer the same. The most visible consequences are not the only thing that frightens her. Not even that strange scar that doctors call Lichtenberg figure, the electrical-like pattern drawn on her skin as the result of the strike. Nor that the impact has consumed away the melanin of her hair, turning it white now, and the skin that surrounds it. She is most disturbed by a series of strange symptoms that she cannot explain or control: visual and auditory hallucinations, electric shocks, and temporary confusion that end up isolating her from everything that was her life before her. She finds support in a group of people who, like her, were victims of a lightning strike. The group, though completely heterogeneous, gradually transforms into her new "family". There she meets Juan, a doctor as charming as he is contradictory, dedicated to researching ceraunopathies and discovering the specific talent that these incidents brought to each person who's ever been through it. For Amanda, the path to electrophilia will be a journey of no return.
